Below you'll find some pics of my dwarf conversions. It is
pretty difficult to come up with a good dwarf conversion, given the short stout
nature of the dwarf models, though head/weapon/arm swaps are easy. The Crossbowmen
below are rather advanced, but other than that it's just simple stuff. Maybe these
will inspire some ideas for you.

Here we have the updated standard bearers for the Iron Breakers and Slayers regiments. The old banners just weren't
doing it for me. I'm on this kick right now that all the banners in the army have to be something worth looking at.
As you can see, I incorporated the original banner iconography from each regiment along with some bitz from the new
warriors/x-bow sprues. I was hoping to achieve a very clean and well maintained look, as that's suitably Dwarfy
IMNSHO, yet I wanted it to look as if they'd been around for a while putting the smack down on (enter enemy
name of choice here). See the Special and Characters gallery sections for close-ups on these bad boys.
UPDATE: I added a pic here of all the Standard bearers in the entire army, including the 2 that were recently
finished.

This is my Adepticon 2007 preview. Here we have some Dwarf traders for the team tourney, and a Dwarf Ranger
messenger for the WHFB Championships. I plan on making 3 more of the bear riders to use as DoW ogres in my Dwarf
army. I love the way he turned out! As far as bits go, the bear is from the Kislev general, and most the bitz on the
traders are from old Empire sprues/models.
UPDATE: They're all done! The ranger on the bear has since been rebased on a 40mm base.
